Chabad Japan 200th Year Rabbi Shneor Zalman of Liadi and Siyum Hashas of Dr. Moskovich
Chabad Japan brings comfort to refugees of the earthquake and tsunami in Sendai. On this 3-day trip, they baked 3000kg of sweet yams for 1500 people.
Seaweed is a sea plant that is full of minerals and very healthy to eat. Rabbi Edery went to a seaweed factory in Southern Japan, that cultivated Nori for 250 years, and supervised the process of making the Nori from beginning to end. This is the first time that the seaweed is checked right after it is taken out from the ocean, after it is thoroughly washed, before any processing, and mashing. Rabbi Edery went out by boat to see the seaweed farming closeup.
